Elementary School - Aadhar
 

Covering Aarambh (Nursery), Neev I (K.G. - I), Neev II (K.G. - II) and Nirmaan (Class - I), the elementary school adopts a non-formal approach to learning. Children here are encouraged to explore their environment while also being taught basic concepts in language, mathematics, computers, art and craft , dance and music. Activities at this level are designed to develop fine motor skills and enhance sensory development with an integration of physical education through trained personnel. In a nurturing environment they would develop an awareness of themselves as responsible and capable learners for the first time. In the elementary school there are no examinations. Teachers evaluations and assessments are continuous and ongoing and are deemed sufficient to mark student's progress.

Junior School - Prangan
 

Spanning classes II - V, the junior school is the child's introduction to full day school, 7:45 a.m to 2:50 p.m. This stage of school aims to build on the child's growing spirit of discovery and exploration. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of sound language skills, mathematical concepts and scientific fundamentals. Regular project work enables students to gain awareness and in-depth knowledge. The children are encouraged to develop good study habits and a love for learning. There are no formal tests in junior school. Appraisal of a child's progress is based on Continuous Assessment & day to day observation in the class, worksheets, participation in activities, C.W. & H.W.


Middle School - Sopaan
 

Comprising classes VI to VIII, this stage sees the introduction of a third language, sanskrit or french, as well the detailing of history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology as separate subjects and all the excitement of their first examination.


Senior School - Shikhar
 

Comprising classes IX to XII, the senior school is where early life's lessons are put to test. Rigorous practice and study techniques with special emphasis on analysis and conceptualization are woven into the curriculum, as students prepare to appear for their icse and isc examinations.


Homework
 

Homework, considered to be an integral part of the learning process is set every day, encouraging independent study. At junior school, homework time varies from 20 minutes in Class - I to 40 minutes in Class - V. At middle school this increases to six hours a week and progresses to ten hours by senior school.


Assessment
 

A regular assessment of student's work is considered crucial in the educational process. Progress is discussed with both parents and students. In Elementary and Junior school the assessment is based on class work, homework, projects, worksheets and detailed progress reports are made by the teacher. While in the middle school, we follow (formative) continuous assessments throughout the year, there are two summative assessments, one in each term. Senior school assessments have been organized following the Council guidelines.

Examinations
 

Exams are the way to test student's knowledge. Exams and test help the student's concentrate in their studies, learn their lessons properly and to enhance the real skills, talents and knowledge. It is the way to express their real knowledge and ability in the written form. It teaches a lot of things and gives training on various things like punctuality, writing skills, and timing sense, expressing our thoughts and opinions and so on. In the senior school we have regular exams Continuous Assessment, Initiations, Half yearly, Trials, Pre - boards and finals.
