On August 25, 2026, the school campus came alive with enthusiasm, energy, and team spirit as the Grade 3 C students presented a special morning assembly to celebrate National Sports Day. The assembly paid tribute to legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, the “Wizard of Hockey,” while highlighting the importance of fitness, discipline, teamwork, determination, and an active lifestyle. The 25-minute assembly began with greetings by the student anchors, followed by the morning prayer and a thought for the day that emphasized perseverance and the importance of never giving up. The highlight of the programme was the engaging play “Hockey Stick Became A Magic Wand,” which conveyed that true success does not come from magic but from hard work, regular practice, discipline, teamwork, and determination. Through the inspiring journey of Major Dhyan Chand, students learned how dedication, passion, and consistent effort can turn dreams into achievements.

Adding excitement to the celebration, Grade 3 C students presented a high-energy sports-themed dance featuring movements inspired by different sports, lively formations, and victory poses. The assembly reinforced the message that hard work is the real magic behind success, while teamwork, discipline, and regular practice help us grow and achieve our goals. It also highlighted how sports build confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship and encouraged every child to make time for outdoor play and physical activity. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to embrace the spirit of sports and make physical activity an important part of daily life. The powerful message of the presentation remained: “The real magic is not in the wand; it is in our hard work, determination, and never-give-up spirit!”
