The Environmental Science and Environmental Applications students of Classes IX–XII from Shikhar experienced sustainability in action during an enriching field visit to Paliwal Bio Energy Pvt. Ltd.
Students explored how cow dung, Napier grass, maize grain waste, and used coconut shells are transformed into Compressed Biomethane (CBG)—a clean, renewable fuel. The visit highlighted innovative waste-to-energy technology and the importance of the circular economy in reducing environmental pollution.
This hands-on experiential learning experience helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world solutions, inspiring them to become responsible environmental stewards.
