Public Speaking Sessions on World Heritage Sites

On December 1st, the student orators of Grade 8 spoke on the cultural heritage of the various international sites and uncovered the history underlying them. The activity was carried out as part of the ISA activity for Action Plan: International Heritage Walk- Exploring the Globe. The students spoke on International Heritage sites covering various countries namely China, USA, France, India, UK. The heritage sites covered were Eiffel Tower, Stonehenge, Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China and Statue of Liberty. The activity enhanced the knowledge, critical thinking and collaboration skills of the students. It also helped develop an understanding towards their cultural heritage and sensitivity & respect for the rich cultural heritage associated with these sites.
