The Sanskaar valley school organized Walk4Dyslexia on Sunday, 30th October 2022 facilitated by the SEN Department (The Learning Lab) at the Boat club. The event kickstarted with ribbon cutting and flagoff by head of the school Dr. Dillip kumar Panda accompanied by Shikhar head Ms. Lubna Niazi and Senior coordinator, Sopaan, Ms. Swapna Choubey. The event was attended by teachers, parents and students from The Sanskaar valley school and a few more organizations who are working for Dyslexia.

Similar events were carried out by lot of organizations in various cities all over the India. The purpose of this national event was to spread awareness about Dyslexia. 

Dyslexia is a learning disability, where children face challenges in identifying letters, words, reading and writing. Dyslexia is the most common learning disability and impacts one in five students or about 20% population all over the world. It is very important to understand that early screening and early intervention can solve the problem substantially.

The parents, teachers and children enjoyed the  activities and refreshments served at the end of the walk.
