Virtual Assembly - Grade V

Grade V’s Assembly ‘Our Vibrant Heritage!’

Our Vibrant Heritage,

is nurtured with care,

coated with pride,

and is dipped in love!

We are proud of this varied heritage,

which is passed on to us.

We the young custodians,

are the proud recipients,

and will keep the traditions alive.

With our head held high,

We announce to the world,

We are proud to be Indians!

The first Virtual Assembly of Grade V overwhelmed everyone with these sentiments as the students showcased our rich cultural heritage through dance, music, story narration and poetry recitation.

The assembly began with the school song, followed by prayer, News, and the Thought for the Day. Tanisha Lahoti began the assembly by narrating an interesting mythological story. It was followed by a sensational dance performance by Pearl Garg, Delisha Gulwani and Nishtha Mishra on the song 'Aigiri Nandini’, which is addressed to Goddess Mahishasur Mardini. Sansriti Rai recited the Hindi poem, 'Rashmirati' written by the famous poet 'Ram Dhari Singh Dinkar'.

In the end, Ishita Agrawal sang the song, ‘Jai Shri Ram’, a bhajan dedicated to Lord Ram.

The emotional quotient ran high throughout the assembly as each student felt proud to be a part of our great country India! The assembly helped us witness a spectacular collaboration of human intelligence and hard work empowered by technology!  It left everyone elated! The Head of the Block applauded her students, ‘the Brave-hearts’ for embracing the challenges and emerging as winners!
