National Parks & Environmentalist Activity Grade V

Students of grade V researched about the various national parks of India and about the environment activists who are working hard to save the environment with their protests, actions and work around the world.

Students are learning about the natural vegetation and how it is getting depleted due to human actions. With this activity the students were made aware and sensitive towards addressing this major issue. Students shared their thoughts and researched facts about the National parks of India, their history and story of their establishments. Stories about Ranthambore National Park, Jim Corbett, Kanha National Park were shared and enjoyed by the listeners which added on to their knowledge.

Students those who got inspired by the work of different environmental activist shared the stories of the hard work of Dr. Vandana Shiva, Ms. Sunita Narain and Ms. Malaika Vaz. Learning by sharing is the interesting way to enrich everyone with more knowledge.
