With this action-based phrase the students of Grade II used the basic process of repeated addition and made the table of 2 on their own using concrete method. By starting with a group of 1 and building up further, children learnt number rules which will make learning other tables much easier. Beyond memorizing tables, understanding how they work can do wonders for building a student’s knowledge of important mathematical concepts.
