Class Teacher Time - 21st June

Mark Twain commented, “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.

Pangan reopened on 21st of June, Monday with Class teacher time, with teacher's focusing on reconnecting with students and making them settle in their classes. Ready to board on their virtual learning voyage. It was great! Absolutely fun to see our kids excited to meet their friends and Class teacher online. They were bubbling with joy, eager to discuss their holiday stories and new learnings with their class teacher. After seeking God’s blessings through a beautiful prayer and a soothing song. Students discussed current happenings around the world and wished birthday greetings to those who had birthdays during Summer Break. 21st of June is also celebrated as International Yoga Day. Teachers used this occasion to discuss the importance of Yoga in our lives. Derived from the Sankrit word 'yuj' which means 'to unite or integrate', yoga is a 5,000-year-old Indian body of knowledge.  We must preserve Yoga to reap its everlasting benefits. To open the door for more communication and empathy between teachers and students, teachers conducted Circle Time which was an interactive speaking- skill activity: ‘I Wish My Teacher Knew’ where the students revealed stories and interesting incidents which happened during Summer- Break. Students spoke about a celebration, a concern, a cute story or asked a curiosity question. They used this invaluable opportunity to have fun. Some answers shared by these brave students were extraordinary, funny and spellbinding. The class teacher bid goodbye to her young champs with a promise to meet again with lot of exciting activities lined ahead. Activities for creativity, happiness and overall social and emotional well-being to enrich the inclusive growth of every student.
