Pranganites Bid Adieu

“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.” – Irish Blessing

Bid-Adieu is an expression of good wishes when someone leaves. As bittersweet memories cloud our mind, we look back at all the memories we have gathered, all the troubles we have shared and all the achievements we have celebrated together.

Friday, February 12th was a heartfelt and equally emotional day for Pranganites as they had to bid adieu to their teachers, and move towards a new horizon.

In order to put their feelings into words, children were given worksheets to fill where they had to put down their thoughts on the year gone by and share their memories.

Children shared their feelings with everyone by reading a few important points from the worksheets before the entire class. Students also beautified their work with smiling emojis and creative illustrations.

Through this activity, the students once again got a platform to communicate their feelings and express themselves fully. They were glad to talk about “The thing they missed most about their school” whereas some shared their experiences of “Schooling from Home” and some happily talked about “What did they learn most in this year”. In the end children expressed their sincere gratitude towards their teachers, parents and school for making them feel safe, secured and connected. The teachers too gave their best wishes and blessings to the students for their all their future endeavors.
