Class Teacher Time - 8th February

“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss

Saying goodbye is never a good feeling but a farewell day is an important ritual that helps us process transitions. Though a little sensitive with the idea of missing their teachers, students were also excited for their next adventure. 8th Feb was a Monday morning filled with mixed emotions for everyone present in the online class to witness the virtual official Au revoir! during Class teacher time.

To lighten up the mood of the gathering, teachers started the class with a big ‘Thank you’ for the strength and resilience we all have shown as a class and Sanskaar family. The class first commenced with a wonderful prayer spoken aloud by a student while others closed their eyes and joined hands. Then a student read out thought for the day which was explained by the teacher. Students also read out few current happenings from India and around the globe. Followed by the much-awaited activity of the day – The Wheel of Emotions. Did you know? That there are actually about 34,000 different human emotions? We had few of them on our Wheel of Emotions. Naming a few; happy, sad, excited, confused, grateful, thrilled, worried etc. Students took turns to spin the wheel and spoke about- how or when did they encounter that emotion in the year 2020-21. It was exciting for the students to make their teacher also spin the wheel of emotions and answer on her turn. It was an incredible way to say bye to all our past emotions and think positive about the next new step ahead. And though we have a week before us, students wished their teacher with words of greeting and teachers ended the session bestowing blessings over the young hearts.
