National Milk Day

DRINK WELL, LIVE WELL! .......... 23rd November

A glass of chocolate milkshake is always a hit! Monday the 23rd of November Pranganites were ready with their sweet yummilicious milk glass! Ready to click a muchifie. It was the occasion when India celebrates National Milk Day on 26th November in memory of Dr Verghese Kurien, fondly known as the Father of White Revolution. Milk is packed with important nutrients like calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, potassium and vitamin D. Plus, it's an excellent source of protein. The study tells that, milk is the topmost source of calcium and vitamin D for children and adults. This white liquid has loads of benefits of what we could ever imagine. 

After seeking God’s divine blessing through prayer, the teacher shared the thought for the day. The fun started with children wanting to drink milk so that they could make muchifies on their lips. Children clicked their cute pictures and send it to the class teacher. There were so many varieties of milk flavours available. Children who didn’t like milk brought any other beverage.  Students took a pledge to have milk every day and watched videos of this tasty treat. They discussed the benefits of drinking milk. Kids had a gala time on this very unusual celebration and had a blast!
