Politically Correct Competition

It is said that the first step towards change is awareness. The second is acceptance.

Every human has four endowments; self-awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination.

These give us the ultimate human freedom. The power to choose, to respond, to change.

Based on the same ideology, the Sanskaar valley school conducted its first-ever live inter-house competition, Politically Incorrect, a de-constructed discussion on the topic “Political Leaders in India are less substance, more myth and mythology.”

The completion was moderated by an alum of batch of 2018, Shrey Moolchandani.

Each house had a four-member team. The competition comprised three rounds, in round number one, each house had a representative who gave an introduction to the points on which the team will be focusing on, the second round involved a five minutes speech throwing light on the views of the team and the third and final round each team was asked two questions by the moderator based on their speech.

The event helped in cultivating mindfulness in students just as connected them to communicate their perspectives and sentiments in an associated stage. It likewise got instrumental in conjuring the house spirit amongst the children.
