Mentor Time - Public Speaking

`Communication skills’ a life skill training session is a part of our curriculum. In new normal, it was planned on the 17th of June, during mentors` time, through an online platform. It was a wonderful moment for the Pranganites to become a part of the Public Speaking Activity. The most important elements of public speaking were kept in mind like the speaker, the message, the channel, the listener, the feedback, the interference, and the situation. The students raised their voices on Cyber safety. They explained that Cyber safety is the responsible use of information and communication technology. It is about keeping information safe and secure.

Keeping in mind the importance of Global Parents Day, Pranganites shared that parents are the best gift of God. Nobody in life can take the place of parents. We must respect them.

Students used this public speaking platform to express their views on ‘The World Environment Day’ and `World Food Safety Day’. They gave the message that we all must work together to keep the environment safe. Students talked about efforts to inspire action to help prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks, contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, tourism and sustainable development.

Students  were shown a video where Snoopy shared some tips on public speaking. Here is the video link for those who want to hear it again. Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tTZmI_EUE0

We appreciate the efforts of students to express their views with clarity of thought and confidence for after all `The art of communication is the language of leadership.’ Looking forward to hearing many more in the coming days.
