Founders Day 2019 - Awards and Cultural Evening

On 23rd and 24th November 2019, we celebrated our 13th Annual Founders Day- Sanskaarotsav 2019- a cultural extravaganza, which exults in the essence of The Sanskaar Valley School and rejoices in all that we stand for. It was a breathtakingly stunning blend of music, dance and drama that captivated all the spectators.

Achievements of the students in academic as well as co- curricular activities were celebrated with a formal Awards Ceremony, where students were lauded for their efforts and hard work as well as innate talent.

The Awards Ceremony in the morning and the Cultural Evening on 23rd November were graced by the presence of the remarkably talented and path breaking filmmaker Mr. Rajkumar Hirani and his wife Mrs. Manjeet Hirani, who is a senior commander and trainer with Air India and an achiever in her own right. Mr. Hirani regaled the parents and students with hilarious anecdotes from his life and inspired everyone to always follow their passion.

The cultural performances commenced with Karwaan- An Inspiratonal Journey Through Time, a blend of classical ragas and contemporary English songs, infused with melody and music, presented by a majestic choir live on stage along with stunning solo performances.

We then paid a humble tribute to our former Honourable President, one of the greatest aerospace scientists our country has ever produced, an academician, a writer and an exemplary role model for the youth of our country, the Missile Man of India- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, by enacting the story of his extraordinary life, narrated in the mellifluous voice of the eminent poet and writer Gulzar in- Parwaaz ka Aghaaz- The Untold Story.

Next in our offering of eclectic performances was a celebration of friendship through an electrifying contemporary dance presentation titled Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai!

We concluded the evening by tracing the exceptional journey of the Father of our Nation, and his transformation from Mohan to Mahatma through a spell binding Indian dance performance which expounded his unparalleled virtues, ideologies and principles.

The two day ceremony was a great bonding and learning experience for the students, who recorded their own dialogues and performed them with infectious enthusiasm and unwavering energy on the stage.

The event was a resounding success and a flawless amalgamation of talent, skill, perseverance and months of unrelenting hard work.
