“Do small things with great love.” - Mother Teresa

Sopaanians were in for a treat when VI G collaborated to display the life and times of the world’s human angel, Mother Teresa. She overstepped boundaries of colour, faith and race to set an example in the field of charity and welfare. Charting her life from her birth name Agnes, to becoming a nun at the age of 18, till her final achievements including a Nobel Peace Prize, the students portrayed the important moments in her life, which shaped her into becoming the Mother we revere. Mother Teresa though not an Indian, left her career as a teacher to care for India’s poor and needy. She taught that we are all born the same, it is our small decisions that make a huge difference. In Mother Teresa’s words, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” May we continue her legacy and spread those ripples even further.
