Regional Round Square Conference - Day Two

The Rain Gods welcomed Day Two of our Regional Round Square Conference with thunderstorms and incessant rains. However, such was the enthusiasm of both the delegates and the hosts, namely The Sanskaar Valley School that it did not deter them from attending any event. The first keynote speaker for the day, Mr. Jeroninio Almeida arrived on time and had his audience captivated with his talk. The theme of the conference, ‘Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes’ was seen from an entirely different perspective. Little anecdotes from the speaker’s side made the talk not only interesting, but relatable as well.

The Baraza session started within half an hour and all 190 delegates from 20 schools across the country alongside their teacher escorts engaged in serious, animated discussions. The one and a half hour slot was over in no time. Lunch was soon served and the young students left enthusiastically to the Tribal Museum. On their return, they were involved in a workshop on leadership. The evening ended with everyone attending the theme dinner – “Jashn-e-Bharat”, all dressed up in their ethnic best.
