Regional Round Square Conference - Day One

On the 7th of September, 2019, The Sanskaar Valley School witnessed an enriching cultural amalgamation when they hosted the Regional Round Square Conference. The Conference is spread over three days and the attendees consisted of students from schools like Trivandrum International of the South, to All Saints’ College of the North. Cutting across the country, were  The Assam Valley School from the East to Mayo College and Dhirubai Ambani International School from the West. The breezy ambience was the icing on the cake to the captivating beauty of the school, which enthralled the delegates during their campus tour.

The descending amber sun cast its hue on ‘the Opening Ceremony'' where the representatives of each school marched holding their flags high with pride. The journey through a stimulating and invigorating experience of ‘change’ began with an indulgent and exuberant dance performance, displaying an ethereal fusion of western pop with Indian dance forms, thus glorifying this year’s theme, ‘Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes’. Chief guest Mr SR Mohanty, Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh marveled at the efforts of the students and inspired the audience with his motivating words:

"If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting... Be a person who thinks, be a person who analyses, step out of your comfort zone and don't be afraid to question your beliefs."

Later in the evening the delegates bonded over the ‘Ice Breaking Session’ that enabled them to connect over a course of various entertaining activities. To further enhance the flow of positive thoughts by virtue of a calmer mind, an hour long meditation session; ‘Magic of Sound’ was conducted to rejuvenate the delegates for the next day of the conference. Day One of the Conference was very exciting and action packed.
