"Melodies echoed through the halls as the school band jammed out in perfect harmony."

Music, which is the soul of our school, came to life at the Band Jamming session organized by the Music Department on 28th April, 2023 in Shikhar’s Courtyard on the last day of school before the summer break. 

It was a Council driven programme and was enjoyed by the students as well as the teachers. Couple of Bands from Shikhar Block namely- “Jashnn” and “Khwaab” held a jamming session that brought together students from various grade levels. The event was held in Shikhar’s Courtyard and was open to all the students who wanted to participate or simply listen to the music. The band members started the session with a few warm-up songs before inviting other students and teachers to join in. Some students brought their own instruments while others simply sang along or clapped their hands to the beat. The music ranged from soothing songs like Huwayein, Ilahi to banging numbers like- Pasoori, Bones, Levitating etc.

The teachers also gave some exceptional performances.  The Music department also put on a spectacular Musical Mob, which everyone enjoyed. Students were leaping up and down, dancing, and singing at the top of their voices, and the atmosphere was palpable. The jam session fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among the kids, bringing together various groups and cliques who might not have interacted otherwise.

The beat dropped, when one talented student from Grade X A took the stage and left the audience in awe with his impressive beatboxing skills." 

Overall, the school band jamming session on the last day before the summer holidays was a huge success, bringing together students  and talents to create a memorable experience that will surely be remembered long after the end of the school year.
