A European Sojourn

Miriam Beard, an American historian very aptly said, “Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.” A group of 22 students and 2 teachers embarked on a journey from 30th May to 8th June 2018 to quench their wanderlust to France, Switzerland, Italy and Vatican City. Influencing all their senses, this Career Exploratory Program harped on inquisitiveness, engagement, and application of knowledge amongst students. Each place they visited helped them shove the clichés of life and learn about interesting career opportunities like architectural technology, particle physicist, heritage manager, museum curator, research chef and lots more. Workshop on building modern automobile at Ferrari museum, sessions on structural engineering at Eiffel Tower, chocolate making exercise at Maison Cailler to learning about humanitarian relief work, the trip surely gave students a good understanding about the affairs of the world.
